Stained glass is made with, well, glass and soldered together with lead. Leaded stained glass is safe to handle as long as you don’t lick it (look, I get it—sometimes the pieces look delicious). Do not serve food off of these pieces, and ideally wash your hands after handling. Glass is also famously breakable and very sharp when broken. Be careful and keep out of reach of pets and kids.
To clean, buff gently with a microfiber cloth and Pledge. Any cleaner containing ammonia is absolutely a no-go for stained glass pieces.
