Tillandsia Harrisii

Tillandsia Harrisii has broad silvery, sage green leaves that are covered by a thick coat of fuzz (trichromes). A hardy variety of airplant, the Harrisii can tolerate less water than other varieties in addition to brighter light, with some partial direct sun provided temps don't consistently exceed 80-90 degrees.

The Harrisii produces vibrant red + violet blooms and can actually develop a constant muted purple hue when exposed consistently to brighter light. Appreciates weekly mistings but be sure to shake out excess water from root base to prevent rot.

The Tillandisa Harrisii measures just ~4" tall with a spread of ~3" wide.
