Join us for our FIRST of many Threaded Thursdays where we explore the myriad of ways to repair and mend our clothing, thus extending their usefulness in our closets.
To kick us off, we have the incredibly talented Jennifer Huang in the studio to guide us through the boro mending process, a Japanese method of repairing denim. Jennifer is a maker and writer invested in palpable process-based craft practices. Her works illustrate the desire to slow time, to express an appreciation for the things in our lives that are often overlooked.
